“ I ordered a Gyros Platter, and it was ready promptly and fresh and tasty. My office is near by, and Ill be returning hear regularly. I especially like the extra creamy slightly olive oil heavy hummus. I make my own hummus and I cant get it this good. ”
“ Delicious and healthy Greek cuisine in downtown San Francisco. Love their Chicken Shawarma and Lamb Bowls! There are seats both downstairs and upstairs. Relaxing and good place to catch lunch. They are also on MealPal, which offers a great deal for a good meal. ”
“ Great value for ! Love their chicken shawarma bowl. Definitely going back. ”
“ Great place and very good food. Staff is amazing, place is small. I ordered Togo but I was pulled into other work so went to picked up an hour later they said since it was made for me hour ago they said they will make fresh one for me. Thank you for the caring staff. ”
“ Food was so delicious and fresh. Falafel was crispy, hummus was creamy and fresh, veggies were beautiful... Very fast and nourishing meal. ”
“ I decided to try here during lunch time, so I ordered through ritual. When it was time to pick up my order, it was pretty crowded inside so it was a good thing I ordered online. The line seemed to go relatively quickly though. You just walk in and pick up your food on the side cart. I got the chicken shawarma bowl. It gives a good amount of food. I was very stuffed after. The chicken is pretty good, slightly dry. I wished they came with more tzatziki sauce, that sauce is good. I didnt want to pay extra for it though. The side salads that the bowl came with were good and refreshing. It adds a nice crunch to the dish and acts as a palette cleanser between bites, so its not just chicken and rice. ”
“ Ayola holds a special place in my heart. I used to frequent Ayola at least once a week when I worked in San Francisco. I work outside of San Francisco now, so its not as easy for me to come get my fix. I still havent found another place that tastes as good or better GreekMediterranean food. My favorite is their Chicken Gyro, and their fries are just as amazing. Pairing it with their hot sauce is phenomenal! On the floor level, theres a few tables to sit down if you wish to dine in, and theres a few spots to sit on the upper level as well, but its a pretty tiny shop. The owners are super friendly and are always happy to see their customers! ”
“ Used to go here every 12 months when I worked nearby. Always got the lunch special with the free soda. I preferred the chicken shawarma and fries sometimes a salad. I miss this place so much no longer live in Cali but will go again next time I visit. ”
